JCS Scales mainly offers three types of weighbridges:

Civil + Structural drawings
Civil and structural drawings are done beforehand and submitted to the client on request. All structural drawings are signed off by a structural engineer.
Foundations
JCS Scales has an experienced team of professional builders. All foundations are poured continuously with 35 MPa concrete and reinforced with steel reinforcing grid. These foundations are built to last. A concrete ramp is built so that trucks can easily drive onto the weighbridge.
The Weighbridge
The weighbridge is built out of solid steel beams and plates.
- All parts are bolted together with HT steel bolts which means the weighbridge can be broken up and moved to another site in no time.
- Certified C02 welding.
- All steel used is certified to code S355JR-350WA.
- Deck plate thickness: 10/12mm.
- Standard anti-rust black poxy paint is used to paint the weighbridge unless requested otherwise by the client.
- Copper earth pins to protect the weighbridge from lightning.
- JCS Scales weighbridges are approved for trade use by NRCS (National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications) and SANAS (South African National Accreditation System)
- Max capacity: 120 Ton
- Weighing modes: gross weight, tare weight and nett weight.
- Size Length: 3m – 30m – Width: 3m – 4m
- Weighbridge is commissioned and verified.
- Verification for legal trade use valid for 1-2 years.

Weighbridge PC Software
